What the extension does

VEDC Timetable lets you extract your own weekly timetable from the school’s staff timetable PDF and then shows your classes for today and what is on now and next.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

How your data is handled

• Timetable PDF: read entirely on your device by a bundled, offline PDF reader (Mozilla pdf.js). The PDF is never uploaded and is not stored after reading.
• Your saved timetable, tasks and substitutions: stored in your browser's own extension storage (chrome.storage) so they persist between sessions. If you are signed into Chrome, Chrome Sync may replicate them across your own devices through your own Google account — they are never sent to us or to any third party.
• Network: the extension makes no network requests. It requests no host permissions and has no access to the websites you visit.

Permissions

Three permissions are requested, all for local features only: storage (to save your timetable, tasks and preferences), alarms (to wake a background check once a minute so a reminder can fire on time), and notifications (to show you a local desktop reminder about your own classes). No host permissions are requested, so the extension has no access to the websites you visit.

Children's privacy

Because the extension collects and transmits no data whatsoever, it poses no data-privacy risk to users of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated date above will change. Any future version will continue to follow the principle that your data stays on your device.
