Easy Exam Timer is a self-contained Chrome extension that opens as a normal browser tab. It works fully offline and is designed so that none of your information ever leaves your computer.

What data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party services.

What is saved on your device

To remember your preferences, the extension saves the following in your browser's local storage, on your own machine only:

• Organisation name and optional second title
• A logo image you choose to upload (stored locally; never uploaded anywhere)
• Selected language and theme
• The "Keep screen awake" preference
• Your last-used timer settings

This data stays in your browser, is never sent to us or anyone else, and is removed if you clear your browser data or remove the extension.

Permissions

The extension requests no special permissions. It uses only standard in-page browser features:

• Screen Wake Lock — optionally keeps the screen awake while a timer is running (you can turn this off in Settings). No data is involved.
• Fullscreen — to present the timer full-screen on request.

Network

The extension makes no network requests. It contains no remote code; everything it runs is bundled inside the extension package.

Children's privacy

The extension collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
